Friday, December 26, 2008 ( post christmas activities @ 8:59 PM )  these few days have been extremely busy!! :OOtoday i went out with ht, and tomorrow i shall be skating with 408ers and the day after im going vivo with cindy! :DD hohoh, i like it! ((: although it spends my money away.  and lately i have been less duo4 luo4 and have read a book by George Orwell, "Burmese Days". A very nice and vivid book indeed, but it exposes you to the dark side of the Burmese days. A time when discrimination still existed between the natives and the whites, the inner and outer battle of man, and finally the ending of the sad. the book is indeed very mind opening, and the style is almost similar to George Orwell's "Animal Farm", difference being that Burmese Days is written in the more reality. to those who have not yet read George Orwell's books, i recommend you Animal Farm first, as it is more capturing with the animals, hah ((: and i have finally read a book! AHHH. i must try to learn from ht, going library and getting one nourished with ideas and get my head thinking. and today's outing with ht! :DD we shopped around bugis street first, hunting down my jacket but main objective was to watch twilight and as usual, camwhoring with my consistent pleas to take artistic photos. heh but i guess those are reserved for the visit to ht's house :D  twilight! and both of us has simultaneously worn white clothings.  WE LOVE THE POPCORN, HAHA.    then we went to the plaza opposite ht's house (just reopened, with more space and facility) and mingled around aimlessly.   look at my jacket! :DD  so many flies around! heh, oh and ht's introduction to The Body Shop's series of Body Butter is highly amusing amazing and attractive to me! HEH. the series smells just like strawberry milk, cranberry and so on. LOVELY. by the smell of it i feel like eating it!!  SEE ((: enticing? but i find The Body Shop's products all very expensive, hai! HAHAHA. you'll really get addicted to the smell! i will be back with more photos ((: (yes, including the neoprints i took with ht eon years ago!) |
