Sunday, June 29, 2008 ( [ LJ! ] @ 12:06 AM ) 以为自己是坚强的，但结果还不都是一样。 当你的心破了一个又一个的洞时，你是活不了多久的。 (((: i want to switch to LJ. i wantiwantiwant. but i like blogger skins. yet the LJ display icons, blog titles and blogging atmosphere is so different it attracts me so much i want! and then everything once here will be deleted, and then i wont have to review again on those ugly pasts. hmmm. but its so troublesome. and i cant bear to leave blogspot too. maybe its time, i should shut up and just think about all these. because anyway, who cares? Friday, June 27, 2008 ( [ have YOU been hacked before? ] @ 12:47 AM ) Situation: 1.) You own a blog which you are very very proud of.  2.) Being a good guy/girl, you blog about issues that are neither sensitive nor attention-seeking..  3.) You lead a very peaceful life! ((:  4.) THEN ONE DAY... 5.) You realised that you could not log in to your account! Thinking that it was only a bug or something, you went to view your blog webpage happily. THEN YOU STARE AT YOUR PAGE IN HORROR.  6.) Your blog no longer exists! Instead, it's being replaced by some hacker who uses your webpage and personal information to advertise about inappropriate things!!!        And so, horror, despair, disgust...and many other mixed emotions filled you, leaving you staring at your damaged blog. In the end, you have no choice but to create a new blog, losing all your beloved archives and such. (not to mention the trouble to explain to all your horrified friends when they visit your blog) SO. have YOU been hacked before?? Many of us have surely been hacked, or have heard of stories of friends being hacked once. Maybe some of us have even hacked unintentionally once in a while! Hacking not only includes breaking into personal accounts on the net, it also includes spam mails etc that sends viruses to damage your computer. Even I have encountered hacking incidents once! But the positive side to it is, I wasn't the one being hacked, I had "hacked" unintentionally into a stranger's account! BUT DON'T WORRY. I was a good girl (still am, I suppose XD) so despite the fact that I was surprised and curious, I did not touch the person's account again. So how did it happen? Basically I was playing Neopets. (When I was small) When I first signed up, I had wanted to use my own name as the username. However, it was already taken so I added some numbers behind it to make it available. Then one day, after a long period when I finally decided to visit Neopets again, I forgot my username. So instinctively, I went to try my name as the username (since I reckoned I would have used it as username when I signed up) and typed in my password. Magically, I entered another person's account! (First instinct = stare at the strange pet in front of me and ask "WHEN DID MY PET TURN INTO THAT?!") So after exploring around, I finally realised that I had accidentally "hacked" into this person's account, haha. WHY?! From my experience, I found out that one of the reasons we can get hacked easily would be due to the fact that our passwords are too common. That is why whenever I sign up for memberships or anything, I use a strong long password with a mix of alphabets and numbers. ((: Besides my Neopet incident, I've also heard of or witnessed many of my friends being hacked. These includes hacking of blogs and hacking of MSN. Imagine yourself chatting with this person you assume is your close friend: "Hey XYZ!!! =DD" "Hello! What are you doing?" "Nothing..." "OH btw, can I have a photo of you? I need it for something." Then the friend turns out to be a hacker who asks you for your photo, which then is used for things we don't wish to discuss. The devastating results! THIS IS WHY, we have to know more about how to protect ourselves in this large unsecure network! But since we don't know exactly how hackers hack us, surely we won't know how to do so, right? Therefore, I advice all of you to attend workshops like this one! Complimentary Workshop on Cybersecurity Only when we have knowledge on Cybersecurity, would the internet then be a much safer network for us to dwell in!  Thursday, June 26, 2008 ( [ hits with realisation ] @ 8:26 PM ) and cindy xiaoxi feli ht's bdays too! and i just realised i have been living in 2007, thinking that the people having their bday this year is super lucky because of 07/07/07. BUT this year is MY YEAR (((: the one and only one. 08/07/08! HOW NICE IS THAT (((: I SHOULD TREASURE IT HUR. lets hope so. -nods- 4th July is NY funfair! woots =D shall take photos then and omg i realised with horror again that i have not yet posted the photos in china. BUT cant blame me! recently the main com has been doing weird stuff, including hanging whenever i try to press "My Computer" from the start button =.= which ended wice with me cursing and shutting down the computer with Ctrl+Alt+Del. hmmm(: oh yes excited with this year's funfair because its going to be the last year in NY, so LAST FUNFAIR IN NY! and cindy and i are going to be mascots, hohoh! i like the mascot idea hahaha because its jap style oh man! and our class is doing "Happy House" in contrast to "Haunted House". ((: hmhm. as so you can guess what we may do. =D OHH. I WANT TO SHOUTOUT!  i think that these kind of skirts ARE SO SUPER NICE!!!! -shouts out- ahaha AND the colur of this skirt is so nice also! (: and its so very cheap >< $25 dollars only waahaha .. stones. haha okay its super expensive but compared to other places i find this skirt super cheap. whaah! oh no im going into the jap mood again, fretting over jap stuff, like jap uniforms. hahaah I THINK JAP UNIFORMS ARE SUPER NICE. INCLUDING GUYS'!! and the skirt is part of the uniform also. isnt that pretty! waahha i think the only school in singapore that ever resembles a Seifuku should be Woodgrove sec. -nods- oh wells. im delaying everything and i think i can die liao. Wednesday, June 25, 2008 ( [ back in a break ] @ 9:55 PM ) hahaha! anyway, i think i have some interesting event to blog about. the first event was the so called banana fight between me and ewe when we started to "fight" over some chocolate issues. (ewe: -picking up her banana-which-was-eaten-so-left-the-skin- :"do you want to eat banana skins?!") so begins when ewe drew on my chem ws and i drew back on her econs notes (i think). to my utter shock, she gave me a depised look and picking the pencil drew some more on her own notes. (ewe: "you think i care about my notes? hurhurhur") yepps so i turned my target to her book underneath. took the pencil and paused for suspense, before producing a wriggly big ugly smiley on her paper. ((: and so ewe turned insane and picking up my uneaten banana, she used it to erase off the pencil markings. (me: -roars with laughter-) oh and today when we are having BSP, lizi drew this fated cursed condemned BIG smiley on my arm. and so during LA when i was inevitably not wearing my windbreaker due to P.E, the smiley was so obvious until Paul Tan (our LA teacher) made this exasperated-cum-disbelievable-and-maybe-some-despise noise and said: PT:"class, let me say this ar..." -pauses for suspense- -before grabbing my arm and showing the drawing to the whole class- PT:" i will not tolerate any self-mutilation okay!" (or something like that) and then the whole class burst into laugher, hurhur. me: "LIZI!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" humhum, someday we'll all be leaving like this. taa =D Thursday, June 19, 2008 ( [=.=] @ 8:48 PM ) maybe its time to evolve there too. will i? 甜言蜜语，说给左耳听。 Wednesday, June 18, 2008 ( [ =.= ] @ 3:11 PM ) hmm done quite a few things lately, but none are actually those important ones. some major events: -> made oreo cheesecake for my mums birthday and for fathers day. the result was not bad though! ((: -> went out with ht to lot 1 and subsequently, cwp. realised in horror and sadness that almost all neoprint shops were closed down and replaced. watched narnia! =D maybe i'll post up the photos..but im lazy to do that and im now actually busy with homework. hahaha retribution. um oh yes and i have to mention that my mum and i were watching movies downloaded from xunlei recently. watched a great deal too :D and i realised that xunlei is a very good program! hahaha we managed to watch even those recent ones. hmm and we watched studio ghibli's films that we did not watch before. seriously i dont know whether its my mums influence, but both of us are big fans of studio ghibli's films and hayao miyazaki ^^ i think im a bigger fan, haha since im a big fan of animes too. but anyway! we watched Princess Mononoke and it seemed quite similar to Spirited Away, and yes i loved it. =D and we watched Tales from Earthsea too, but that was directed by Hayao Miyazaki's son, Goro Miyazaki and it wasnt as good. hmm but i loved the song sang by therru, and so it became my blogsong. and i think its going to stay there for quite some time (: have time and search for the translation sometimes. you'll find that the song is something you can cry for (: Kokoro wo nani ni tatoe you Taka no you na kono kokoro Kokoro wo nani ni tatoe you Sora wo mau yo na kanashi sa wo Wednesday, June 11, 2008 ( [stickman] @ 2:48 PM ) regret if you dont watch this O.O and that was animator vs. animation I, this, is even better! animator vs. animation II: ahaha, liked the part when The Chosen One threw Firefox into the recyclin bin and froze it! and the part where the msn person died and the animator was deciding to send him to graveyard or heaven. haha! i hope you liked it like i did! =D hmm please wait patiently for the photos. ive already uploaded them into my comp, but i need t do editing and uploading into webalbum, which is taking a long time since picasa doesnt seem to want to work and is lagging my comp rarr!! 沙漏记得 我们遗忘的时光 Monday, June 09, 2008 ( [ lazed ] @ 8:01 PM ) i have been snoozing around in the house ever since i got back and its making me furious at myself ergh! i cant seem to get back in that right mood to start my work. maybe its time i start to liven up and stop being such an idiot. hmmm ewe just showed me photos of hwangcheng and demanded me to spot her among the many crowded people within five seconds, but at which i did and surprised her, wahahah! =D actually i had quite a sense of accomplishment at myself (since i could amazingly spot her in the limited timing when everyone was only a teeny weeny ickle bit) and so she tried to fail me by demanding me to spot jessamin(?) and wanglin and again me outwitted her again mwahaha! in five seconds i couldnt even believe myself too. hmmm. pleased by this random event =D 我想试着去学，但是却越陷越深。 Sunday, June 08, 2008 ( [ backk ] @ 1:38 PM ) i have stuff to blog about, photos to upload, and loads of homework to do. not to mention practices to go. im not sure how i am going to manage this holiday with already two days gone. gambatte ne. eeeee recovering from fever currently and hopefully, merge back into that feeling i have once. i might be extremely busy these few days, perhaps doing: slacking catching up 3 whole self study chapters of maths since we were off at china bio ten year series chinese past year papers IH interviews and analysis BSP NEW lunwen report LA hw and lots of other homework i cant seem to remember until checked choir practices OMG. i think i can die here. anyway. sicknessis not wearing off plehh i shall blog next time i feel better!
